Army Hits Its Reenlistment Goal by 152% Partly Due to Economy

The Army has hit 152% of its reenlistment goal for this year. This is partially due to the economy. Unemployment among veterans is at 11.2%; the unemployment rate among the general population is at 8.8%. There is a total of approximately 170,000 unemployed veterans.
