World War II-era Plane Crashes in New Jersey

Saturday night a World War II plane made an emergency landing at the Millville Airport in New Jersey. The plane had just been overhauled before Terry Rush took it out on a test flight. Rush was an experienced pilot, who had flown every World War plane at the airport.

Bill Rich, a World War II pilot, says that he does not believe that Rush had a parachute with him. Rush ii in critical but stable condition at a local hospital. The plane was one of few remaining TBM Avengers. Read more.
