On this date…

On this date in 1945 Swedish diplomat Raoul Wallenberg, who is credited with saving tens of thousands of Jews from the Nazis, was arrested by Soviets in Hungary. It is not known whether Wallenberg is still alive. Russians claim he died on July 17, 1947. Other reports have indicated otherwise.
