From the Greatest Generation to the Latest Generation

High school students at Macomb High School in Peoria, Illinois are working on a project to preserve World War II history. The school received a $25,000 federal grant from the Illinois State Library to buy computer and recording equipment needed for the project. U.S. history students will serve as the interviewers and students in the school’s technology department will record the interviews. The students will be conducting 25 interviews, which will be sent to the Library of Congress. Read more about these students.
