North Dakota Senate passes Veterans Education Bill

The bill, which was voted on on Tuesday by the Senate, would allow any veteran whether they were a resident of the state of ND or not to take advantage of resident tuition should the veteran choose to attend one of North Dakota’s state colleges.

Currently about 1,000 of the 1,600 veterans attending college in ND are residents. The bill is now going to the House for review. It passed the Senate by a vote of 46-0.
